PDRTA FARE CARDS NOW AVAILABLE AT PIGGLY WIGGLY STORES![]() posted on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 PDRTA is pleased to announce a new convenience for its fixed route riders on the Florence Transit System, Myrtle Beach Commuters, and Chesterfield-Cheraw-Bennettsville transit. Through a partnership with Piggly Wiggly stores, PDRTA transit riders can now buy fare cards at their local Piggly Wiggly. Passes will be available at the Customer Service desk, and passengers can pay for them with cash, credit/debit cards, or Greenbax. "We're very happy to be partnering with Piggly Wiggly to bring this added convenience to our riders," said PDRTA Executive Director Janice Baroody. "Fare cards are cheaper than paying cash, and being able to buy them at The Pig means it's easier than ever for our customers to use our service. We'll still be selling fare cards online and at our office, but since most of our bus routes stop at a Piggly Wiggly store, our riders will have more options. And since riders can pay with Greenbax, they can save even more" All 3 Florence Piggly Wiggly stores sell fare cards, as do Piggly Wiggly stores in Lake City, Mullins, Chesterfield, Bennettsville, and Hartsville. * This is a printer friendly version of the original page, made to save you ink and paper. posted on Sunday, January 24, 2021 PDRTA is pleased to announce a new convenience for its fixed route riders on the Florence Transit System, Myrtle Beach Commuters, and Chesterfield-Cheraw-Bennettsville transit.
