The property will be sold "as is, where is, with all faults" along with all rights and appurtenances pertaining thereto. The property may be visited for inspection purposes between 9AM and 3PM on July 31 and on August 7.
Bids on PDRTA bid forms must be received on or before August 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM. Bids shall be delivered to PDRTA, 313 S. Stadium Rd., Florence, SC 29506 and enclosed within a sealed envelope marked "Bid.". Bid forms are available at the above address or by calling 843-519-0885 during business hours. All bids shall remain in effect for 90 days after the date of submission and must be accompanied by a $3500bid security deposit in the form of a cashiers or certified check, payable toPee Dee Regional Transportation Authority. Bids will be opened at 3:00 p.m. in the board meeting room at PDRTA, 313 S. Stadium Rd., Florence SC. The successful bidder's security deposit is non-refundable upon acceptance by the PDRTA. In the event that the successful bidder fails or refuses to close the property transaction within sixty (60) days following acceptance of the bid by the PDRTA Board of Directors, PDRTA shall have no obligation thereafter to sell the property to the successful bidder and the bid security deposit shall be forfeited to and shall become property of PDRTA.
PDRTA, by advertising this property, is not making, and specifically disclaims any warranties or representations of any kind or character, express or implied, with respect to the property, including, but not limited to, warranties or representations as to matters of title, zoning, tax consequences, physical, or environmental conditions, availability or access, ingress or egress, operating history or projections, valuations, government approvals/regulations, or any other matter or thing relating to or affecting the properties, including without limitation, (1) the value, condition, merchantability, marketability, profitability, suitability, or fitness for a particular use or purpose of the property; (2) the manner or quality of the construction or materials incorporated into the properties,; and (3) the state of repair or lack of repair, of the property. Conveyance will be by "Quit Claim Deed." If the property is to be conveyed in any name other than the person or entity making the bid, this fact must be set out at the time of the bid. Conveyance will be made and accepted subject to any and all easements, restrictions, reservations, or other instrument of record affecting the properties. In addition to the payment in full of the bid amount, the Buyer will be responsible for its closing costs, attorneys' fees, pro rata share of taxes, if any, recording fees and any other cost incurred by the Buyer to close the purchase.
