ADA AND ACCESSIBILITYAll PDRTA vehicles are handicap accessible. All PDRTA drivers are trained in passenger assistance and certified in First Aid and CPR. If you need assistance boarding or exiting the vehicle or fastening your seat belt, please tell your driver. Service animals are welcome on PDRTA vehicles, but they must be related to the disability and under the control of the passenger at all times. Half fare applies to fixed route service only. Your driver may ask for proof of age, to see your Medicare card and an ID that shows that the Medicare card is yours, or your ADA eligibility card. If you need an ADA eligibility card, please call us or ask your driver for an application. Service AnimalsService animals are welcome on PDRTA buses. Service animals must be under the control of the passenger at all times and must not interfere with other passengers or the safety of bus operations. Medical Devices, Walkers, and WheelchairsPortable medical devices such as portable oxygen tanks or respirators are allowed on our vehicles, as are walkers and wheelchairs. If using the bus lift, the wheelchair and rider must not exceed 600 lbs. Other AssistanceDon't be afraid to discuss your needs with your driver! Your driver is trained to call out stops, assist with seat belt and wheelchair securement, and other assistance.
