Mobile Advertising

Pee Dee Regional Transportation Authority partners with Evening Shade, a full service graphics and design company located at 1231 S. Irby St, Florence, to market its vehicle advertising program.

Evening Shade works with potential advertisers to design and develop advertising suitable for placement on buses and trolleys. Anyone interested in placing an ad should contact Steve or Melissa at 843-665-4520.

Advertising is available on buses and trolleys used on the Florence Transit System and buses from Marion to Myrtle Beach and Lake City to Myrtle Beach. All buses are rolling billboards and are a great way to get your message across to thousands of potential customers.

Interior bus advertising space is also available. Market your business directly to PDRTA's riders!

Advertising rates are per vehicle, per month. Production costs are in addition to monthly charges. Discounts are available for multiple buys.

• All advertising must be in good taste and is subject to review by PDRTA. We do not accept advertising for alcohol or tobacco products.
• PDRTA rotates buses on the Florence Transit System and therefore does not guarantee that the same bus will travel the same route every day. This is a positive! It means that your ad will get exposure throughout the greater Florence area!
• Buses are taken out of service periodically for maintenance. Normally, downtime does not exceed 24 hours. If a bus with advertising is out of service for more than two days, PDRTA will add an additional day to the service contract at no charge or move the ad to another vehicle.
• All production costs and first month's advertising cost must be paid in advance. PDRTA will bill advertisers in advance for each month.
