The Pee Dee Regional Transportation Authority facility
in Cheraw was recently honored by the South Carolina Chamber of
Commerce for its outstanding safety record in 2010.
The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce recently recognized
companies and their employees who had a commendable Lost Workday
Case rate furing the 2010 calendar year.
During the 2010 calendar year, PDRTA's Cheraw facility employees
worked 22,448 hours without a Lost Workday Case. The last Lost
Workday Case for Cheraw occurred in November, 2009. The Cheraw
facility logged over 600,000 miles during 2010 and completed over
45,000 passenger trips.
The Cheraw office has 12 employees and is managed by Clarence
Galloway, Sr, and Transportation Coordinator Annie Rini.
